On June 18, 2023, Me and my Family went to Laiya, Batangas to celebrate Father’s Day not including my grandmother as she sadly passed away on March 19, 2023. When I was in a field trip for school related purposes and so on. But i just hope that she enjoyed the trip as much as we enjoyed it too.

Even so! Our trip was very fun. We had left very early in the morning so that the sun won’t be too hot when we arrived at the resort, but as we were going to exit Jade residences, The sun began to rise, the view from the car was honestly so breath-taking! Though, it had been definitely a tiring ride since getting up early was hard, but it was very worth it. The car ride lasted for 4-5 hours, and I was really pleased with the sceneries we saw by as we drove to Batangas.

But when we had arrived by the resort, we weren’t really complete. One of my aunts weren’t there along with my older cousin who is 20 years old. But as just as we thought they wouldn’t arrive, they did! It was definitely a joyful moment for my family to be together as a whole. And on top of that, we were so excited to swim by the nearby pools! The place wasn’t as crowded too, and that pleased my family since it was a very peaceful and beautiful resort alongside its beaches and pools.

Meanwhile, Me and my younger cousin were so excited about the beach and pools, that we ended up being the first ones to change into swimsuits, can you believe that? Well, I was particularly the first, but we won’t mind that as much! The shore also looked dazzling by our little hut area. The sea was the first one I had gone to before the pool since it was closer to us! And the sand felt very nice too, but it was very rocky by the time I stepped foot into the water, luckily, they were round rocks! But as I stayed longer in the water- it became very itchy... It was because there were some tiny fishes in the water that bite, and once my aunts and uncles stayed in the water too, they got bitten Aswell! The reactions from my uncles and aunts we're priceless!

But after a few minutes of playing by the sea, my cousins and my grandfather had also joined in. It kept going for a good while, until I decided to try out the pool! Though the sun was striking hot, it was still worth a try. The pool water was very clear... along with some floating bugs that wanted to take a dip by the water and some little leaves, but other than that, it was fine! And the best part about it, is that it had a slide! Although the pool was kind of deep for a four / five-footer, it was still fun to swim in.

Finally, after hours of swimming and messing around, we were called for lunch time and were taken on a caddy! The small trip was so fun, the vehicle looked so much like a golfcart! (   ) And as we headed on to the lunch  We were taken aback by the amazing scenery of the resort, especially the houses that people stayed in. And the food we ate was very nice! it was delicious, especially the spaghetti that I ended up refilling my plate with it. But as time passed and we had already finished eating, me and my older cousin decided to walk back to the spot ourselves, talking by on our way there. It was fun. We played by a nearby playground we saw on the way, and we had some photo taking here and there too. And finally, it was time to go home! We enjoyed our stay in the resort, and we even saw a rainbow cloud by our way home!

It truly was a joyful experience with my family.
